Tue. 10.15.13, 6:45 pm CT, 56 degrees, rain; 20 degree temp. drop in last 3 hours. One Ruby Throat at the remaining feeder (hanging from porch beams).

Wed. 10.16.13, 10:15 am, 56 degrees, rain continuing from last 2-3 days. One Ruby Throat huddled on the porch cement under the feeder; cold and wet, not moving a lot. Picked up the bird, warmed and let her dry off in a sheltered container then released her around 3 pm when the rain stopped, sun came out & temp. increased. Flew off and hopefully without additional problems.
