October 19, 2013: We saw more eagles (438) this week than last week. They have moved and are now concentrating in the middle of our counting area. They have moved in to the center from the edges of our observation areas. This probably is because the fish have moved. There were fewer juveniles this week than previous weeks. There were far fewer leaves on the trees this week so it was easier to see the eagles. We can see more nests now that the leaves have fallen.
