Was very surprised to see a monarch feeding on goldenrod along the marsh at about 3:30 pm. It stayed there for at least 5 minutes. Within a few blocks saw 2 or 3 others flying. It was a warm afternoon, temps in the 60s. hadn't seen any in the area for at least a few weeks prior to that.
