Bald Eagle

Date: 10/23/2013

Number: 1

At least one pair of bald eagles is back in Apalachicola Bay along the causeway from Eastpoint. There are some resident birds, but this year, a number seemed to migrate elsewhere, presumably northwards. We seldom saw any mid-summer. We did see at least three separate birds today, one was flying west of Apalachicola and two were on power line structures across the bay.
