While driving to work at 7:30 AM CST. a blad eagle was on the roadside picking at some roadkill (a possum I think). It flew directly over the hoo0d of my car when I drew close. Its wingspan was approx. 4 ft. It was beautiful! I have never seen one up that close in the wild.
