Tulips PLANTED

Date: 10/17/2013

Number: 1

When we planted our garden the weather was dry. Many of us thought the temperature felt cool, while others felt it ranged from hot to cold. Maybe it was because we were wearing different amounts of clothes. The dirt in our garden was moist and rocky. We planted 3 rows of tulips (each row had about 25 tulips) and each person got to plant their own bulb. The bulbs were planted 4 inches apart with the pointy side up. Our class is so big that we took turns and two people planted at a time. Most of our class didn't observe any flying or crawling insects. One student saw a lady bug.
