Pismo Beach butterfly grove, 63 degrees, approx 12 pm, winds calm, partly cloudy. Butterflies roosting in eucalyptus grove. Several thousand observed in many clusters. Butterflies became more active as temperature rose, nectaring on native plants along stream bed leading to the beach. Butterflies appeared healthy and active.
