Today was very chilly. I didn't see many animals and I expect the squirrels are hibernating. I saw a fox when I was coming back from a party- it was in the road. Luckily the car didn't run it over. There aren't many bugs around and the leaves are turning crackly brown and falling from the trees. The nights are longer and the days are shorter. When I wake up in the morning it is still pitch black outside.
