I have a registered waystation filled with milkweed and nectar flowers. This large monarch spent the late morning around my pool gathering food from different flowers.He was accompanied by another smaller monarch which was much quicker and difficult to photograph. He was focused on food as he bounced from flower to flower, however the bright orange zinnias appeared to be his favorite as he stayed there for quite some time.
