Today I went running in the Matoaka Woods near the College of William and Mary and there was about two inches of crunchy, fallen leaves covering the trail! It was beautiful actually seeing leaves periodically fall as I ran. The only slightly problematic part was that the leaves covered all of the above-ground roots - any runner's worst enemy! I also saw a white-tailed deer. Today was comfortable and sunny outside, with a high of 67 degrees F.
