We camped(primitive) at Plum Point Campground off Pope-Water Valley Road. I crawled from the tent approximately 7:30. I prepared my camera for some shots of fishing boats and shimmering waters. I heard some strange calls coming from the sky. I had no idea what it was, but I searched and captured the only birds I saw. The neighboring camper yelled, "Eagles, it's a pair of them!!" So I got one shot of each and one shot that blurred. The blurred one was the closest shot but the other two are clear. I think I got one of each bird, but I'm not positive on that. I have been camping there for about 30 years and although I'm familiar with the fact that they host an eagle-spotting day for young people, I've never had the pleasure. I'm so thankful I finally got to see a real one!! Thanks for giving me this chance to share it.
