I tagged a dozen or so monarchs at the outer banks, dare county during wings over water birding festival Oct 21-26. Would have had more but only had one good weather day, but still managed to get several on the pelican island field trips where it's advertised to help tag monarch butterflies! Saturdays trip had several families and luckily good weather, so several children got to help catch and help tag some monarchs.
