There were 4 Monarchs in my front yard fighting the high winds to feed on a very large (over 4 feet across) gold and orange mum. They were having a very hard time trying to hold on until they got down inside the plant. They were there when I went out at 2pm (so do not not what time they arrived) and I left about 3:15 and they were still hunkered down in the plant feeding. (so I do not know how long they hung around, we had high winds and hard rain last night and early morning and I so far have not seen them today.
