Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 11/01/2013

Number: 1

The past 4 days a small hummer, possibly immature male ruby throat?, has claimed a territory in the yard. It has been sitting in a Chaste tree. I have a feeder set on the deck but it prefers the plants in yard. It has been frequenting a turk's cap, abutilon flowering maple, and a coral honeysuckle. I had to re-save the picture to make it smaller, hopefully it worked. We are excited to see how long it hangs out. All the other hummers left over 3 weeks ago.
