Signs of Fall
Sightings report image

Date: 11/01/2013

Number: 1

Nearly all the leaves are gone now and we have had cold, wet, rainy, snowy weather. Typical fall conditions. In the North we also have to contend with the annual burning of the slash piles over many miles and that causes the air to be thick with smoke. Slash piles are the branches and other unused parts of the trees cut by the Forest Operators during clear -cutting.
