Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 11/02/2013

Number: 1

As I was tapping on the cup like I do every morning to call the baby male cardinal to come to feeder just filled, a baby brown Rufous hummingbird came to my surprise. It looks like the other babies that came last fall with a lot of brown feathers with some orange all over under parts. Trying to photo it is hard as it was very fast. It came close to me exploring the Hameli, Mexican sage and Porter weed still blooming. What a surprise, but it may just be passing thru. We shall see.
