Saw a male monarch nectaring on a flowering bush. It was in the low 70s. He was in perfect condition. Watched for about 15 minutes. I was in the parking lot of a botanical garden.

I entered the garden and saw a monarch fly by a few minutes later, about 100 yards away from the parking lot. It didn't land, but it was probably the same butterfly as before.
