It appeared to be a female ruby-throat. Time: between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. She came to a heavily blooming turkscap shrub and moved around it, chipping. I refilled and rehung a nearby feeder, hoping to draw her to one spot so I could home in with binoculars. Have not seen her again so far today.
