Mr Rufous' first real test with the temperature. It's dropped 20 degree's throughout the day today. When Cathie was here this morning banding it was a pleasant 60 degree's, at that was at 9am. We're at a cold windy misty 41 degree's now at 5pm, on our way down to a frigid 18 overnight. I took warm food out for Rufous a few minutes ago so he'd have a warm belly tonight. I plan on bringing in my feeders later this evening, once I feel confident he's done eating (I'm worried about the plastic cracking). I will be up well before dawn to rehang warm fresh feeders. Fingers crossed and hope he does ok. I'll give an update in the morning. I've posted another pic of Cathie banding him today. Enjoy!
