Not sure how many monarchs I had lay eggs but I was being eaten out of milkweed by tens of cats. Ended up having 26 chryalises, some started emerging on 11/10 and as of today I have 5 left to emerge. Just found a new batch of about 5 baby cats on what little milkweed I have left. So far there has only been one male born, the others are all female. A few of them seem to be hanging around but I don't think all 21 are here - wish I knew for sure, as they do over-winter here in Florida.
