Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 11/15/2013

Number: 1

I think this little must have been too young to migrate when he was supposed to go south. We normally put away our hummingbird feeders away around the middle to the end of October. Saw this little guy hunting for food so I put the feeders back out. I have been bringing the feeder in at nite , temp went down to 25 degrees, and back out in the morning. Our little guy hits it almost immediately at 6:30 AM. It is November 15th and temp is 33 degrees. I put Christmas lights around the feeder to keep the juice warmer and he seems to like it.
