Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 11/15/2013

Number: 1

9:15 this cool morning in the 50s, and I just found a 4th instar caterpillar on my tropical milkweed. Brought it in and warmed it in my palms until it began to move around, then fixed it a condo in a clear plastic cup and put some leaves in for it to feed. Meanwhile sat and watched 2 monarchs eclose.
