Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 11/16/2013

Number: 1

I have about 24 monarch caterpillars. I just had 2 more hatch out this morning. So tiny! I started bringing them in as soon as I spot one, because I lost a lot to wasps & flies. I made an enclosure for them for when they reach about an inch long. Prior to that, I have containers I keep them in, and bring fresh leaves to them a few times a day. Eat & poop. That's what they do! lol
I'm running low on leaves that do not have eggs on them. I bought some plants from a couple different BIG stores, and a lot of my caterpillars died, so I don't want to buy anymore plants.
