I live in San Diego California and I have milkweed in my garden...it has several caterpillars eggs and chrysalis and live Butterflies...I love that they seem to be "Over wintering" here..but my milkweed is not growing as fast as the caterpillars are eating it...need to find some nurseries that are still selling it.......Love them...also saw a Swallowtail Butterfly the other day.
