Sightings report image

Date: 11/18/2013

Number: 1

Unbelievable number of Bohemian Waxwings were seen today as I walked to school. The "Buzz" of the birds could be heard 4-5 blocks away. I stopped several times to take some pictures of the large flocks of birds but could only capture a small amount. The Bohemian Waxwing is a Winter Resident in Montana from it's Summer Breeding grounds in Northern Canada. Unbelievable numbers.
