The Hummers are back! They return to my backyard every year usually the first or second week of October. I keep a log of when they show up & leave. They head back North the end of March to the first week of April.This year I see only females. One is very small compared to the other two. We have an Orchid tree in the yard which goes into full bloom the first of Nov. They love it ! I also have two feeders for them. Nice weather, a billion Orchid blooms, insects & sweet nectar. Life is good for the hummers in South Florida!
