Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 11/23/2013

Number: 2

Observed older female looking tired, pos. beat-up. Male followed 2-3days later. 11/17/13 approx. already had been thru 2days of hard frost. Now 11/23/13 & both are good looking / shines, vibrant, & semi-quick, If possible, lots of other yr. rnd birds, as well as plenty of bl. Jays, crows, hawks, peregrines, owls& more. Both r fattening up with the addition of insects to my nectar & diluted Jelly combo. They prefer fresh ants, than to ones left overnight, i.e. Dead, not moving. Also love my neighbors amazing, humongous, Passion flower vine, rooted @ alcove, by their basement. Plant is aprox 8-10 yrs old. On warmer days very pungent. Pics on way. Hope info is helpful. I find it very interesting. They need to leave TODAY!
