I still have 3 adult monarch's that seem to call my yard home. And I released another one into the wild this morning, from one of the many chrysalis' I have in the enclosure I made late last month.
Every morning, I look out to see if "my" monarch's are still here, and sure enough, there they are, flying around the property, stopping on the remaining butterfly weed, and cosmos.
I also have 3 queen butterflies that live here as well.
Going to miss them when they are finally gone. Worry about when it turns cold.
