November 25th, Venable third graders and first graders planted Red Emperor tulip bulbs on the south and west sides of the school. It was hard because some of us hit rocks, clay and roots.
It was cool because some of us got to plant with our sisters. Yesterday was cold with a high of 43 degrees Fahrenheit and the low was 33 degrees. The soil temperature when we planted was about 45 degrees.
