I've been seeing a hummingbird around my patio for about 6 weeks now. After the first sighting I bought a feeder. I haven't seen her feeding but mostly just perched on the fence or gate or tree. Tonight when I came home she was perched on a plant and I startled her as I opened the gate. She flew to another plant, then clung to the top of the patio cover for a few seconds, then flew away. I decided to learn a bit about hummingbirds and found your site in the process. Ihope this information is helpful.
