Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 12/02/2013

Number: 1

We've had several queen butterflies spending time in our garden this week on the warm days, but suddenly, a monarch appeared today, flying around the garden, seeming to play with the queens and even the falling elm leaves. It fed on the milkweed off and on for about an hour along with the queens. The afternoon is warm and sunny, about 80 degrees.
