We have had a dozen Anna's coming to the feeders for a few weeks now. We put the feeders out at daybreak so they don't freeze over night. This morning shortly after the feeders went out I thought there was a leaf stuck to a perch. On closer inspection we realized after a sip, a hummer went back into stupor and was hanging completely upside down from the perch. We were going to bring him in to warm him up but he flew away as we approached. We put out warm water for the other birds so they don't cool there core trying to find moisture in the cold.
