The students loved getting their hands dirty and planting the tulips. It was so cold outside that we planted inside in our pots then took them outside. We planted 10 Tulips in each pot, six inches down. Our pots are now outside gathering snow along the chain link fence away from our building where they will get plenty of sunlight.
