While over looking my balcony of my two story home facing west I saw a lager bird , with a white head and white tail fan. I knew I was looking at a bald eagle flying. It landed on a tall tree by a golf course. First time I saw an eagle up close. I also sighted what I believe to be a brown eagle. It came into view in my binoculars as I was watching the bald eagle. Incredible. Time was about 9:00 a.m. 12-09-13. Years ago I saw a brown eagle land even closer. Went to the library to confirm my sighting and was right on. No pictures available. Just what my wife and I saw.
