I was in awe. It was truly a breathtaking experience. I pulled up in my drive way and got out of the car, and heard a noise. when I looked in my neigbor's yard, it flew up really slow with really really big wings up into a tree. My neighborhood is called Morgan Park and has recently made it on the historic register. The wildlife we have experienced regularly includes, owls, woodpecker (yes always in the spring), lots of deer, foxes, possum, lots of rabbits, racoons, blue jays and red robins. The eagle has me stumped, I never thought I would encounter one so close up.
