The eagle flew directly over the highway(medium-low traffic). It landed in the middle dividing medium. We turned around to get a closer look, and it had moved maybe one hundred yards off from the shoulder of highway in an open field. It looked as though it was eating something while standing on the ground in the middle of the field next to the highway. The highway was U.S. 27 North near Becks farm market.
