In the summer I planted a new butterfly garden on Golden gate Pt Sarasota. I made sure I had milkweed for the caterpillars to eat. On November 20 I noticed a Monarch Butterfly on the Milkweed plants laying eggs, very exciting. On December 25 I checked the plants and there were six caterpillars. They are getting quite big eating all the leaves. I just added four more Milkweed plants. I am concerned about the birds, we have very large birds and a lot of mocking birds. I have videos of the Butterfly and the caterpillars. Waiting for the next stage.
