I am new at this. I have raised monarchs all summer & fall of 2013. Right now I have brought into the house 2 about to hatch chrysalis. It is to drop to low 30's tonight. I had one that must have hatched this morning. It was still warm. Hoping it flew south ahead of the cold front. I don't know if I have killed them or saved them. Time will tell. There were about 5 caterpillers that finished eating last week. They have I won't be able to find them. I wonder about their survivability this time of the year.
