Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 01/11/2014

Number: 175

At 10:00 a.m. on Jan. 11, 2014 I observed close to two hundred Robins in my woods. They were flying from tree to tree as if they were playing. They flew close to my home and were not afraid of me. They filled my woods and I did not notice any other birds in the area while the robins were here. I live by a State Park and see different birds and animals on a regular basis. At present I have 14 wild turkeys, 7 deer, a blue heron, and ducks and of course squirrels, lizards, snakes and frogs in summer. The picture included is closeto the house and has fewer birds than the trees by the woods but you can see how they are together.
