After some alarmingly cold days -- the so-called "polar vortex" -- we experienced a rapid thaw yesterday and today. Lots of rain. On the lawn of a nearby condo, where all the snow had melted, there must have been EASILY four dozen robins searching for worms in the soggy ground. I have no idea if this is normal but it struck me as rather alarming. I took a number of photos with my phone but this turned out best. It is only a sliver of the scene.
