I viewed a single female Robin on my deck railing on the south side of my home about 1:30 p.m. Saturday (1/11/14). I have never seen a Robin this early but the weather just made a drastic change from record sub-zero temperatures and heavy snow last week to about 40 degrees with rain on the sighting day. The Robin appeared to be eating seeds from a small flower pot.
