this bird was observed playing in the thermals for at least 10 minutes...this is an area of the county where there is much nursery stock grown.... I have lived in this area for 24 years and have always watched the raptors.... this is my first bald eagle sighting even though I know there is a nesting pair reported just sought of here. Didn't think to take a picture... will be sure and do so the next time...
