Eight robins sighted on the Springbrook Trail seem to be wintering over again this year. There is an abundant supply of berries and also open water. Robins have been observed several different days a various locations in and near the water and also eating berries in the trees. One sat in one spot on January 11th and allowed me to take it's picture many times from a distance of approximately 6 feet and then I moved closer and got this picture from 5 feet before it flew away.
