Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 01/16/2014

Number: 600

My husband Mel and I came home on January 16, 2014 after being out shopping at around 2:30 PM to see hundreds of Robin Redbreast on our driveway and flying around and they were on the red holly bush and shrubbery, in the trees, on our grass and in the empty lot behind our house. There were hundreds of them. It was such an awesome sight we could not believe our eyes how many there were. Of course they cleared as we drove up the driveway to enter our garage. Then they all returned from the woods and stayed awhile. Never in our lives had we seen such a site . It was beyond words how beautiful they were just fluttering around in and out of red holly bush that was loaded with red berries and just to see them. When I say there were HUNDREDS I truly mean HUNDREDS. Words cannot express the joy we felt watching them. Nor will we ever forget the Migration of hundreds of RED ROBIN REDBREAST that came to our home at 71 Wellington Drive, Carmel, New York. We sure hope they come back next January 2015. Still in Awe.
