We're getting 8-12 inches of snow today, and enticed our winter robins to our covered feeder by putting raisins and fresh blueberries in it (in addition to the standard shelled peanuts halves, millet and safflower for other birds and squirrels). We also put some under a picnic table. (The feeder is the type that looks like a covered bridge, and our deck is up one flight among mature trees.). We'll put some apple bits out there later.
