1 mature eagle perching in trees along Little AuSable River 300 yds West of the bridge on AuSable Point Rd. Large bird (markings visible in 7x35 binocs). Flew SW toward Port Kent before I could get pic. Thick ice for 200 yds off shore to Pt Kent, but large expanses of open water from Pt Kent NE to Burlington VT. Based on past obs, this coming week should be great!!!
