While shoveling snow on 1-27-14 at approx. 10:00 AM EST I counted 16 Robins feasting on dried fruits from a Bradford Pear Tree and a Sargent Crab Tree. Mixed in with the flock of robins were some European Starlings eating the same fruits. These robins have been in the neighborhood for the past few weeks. I also have seen them eating snow off the branches of the same trees.
