Gathering papers for the recycle bin and noticed a large Monarch caterpillar on the cement walk. I placed the caterpillar in a large glass jar with sprigs of butterfly bush and flowers. She ate all the flowers and is now (01/28) attached to the jar lid. She didn't eat any of the leaves.The jar is inside. I raised five caterpillars to beautiful adult stage the same way in the Fall of 2011.
