Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 01/28/2014

Number: 27

I've never seen robins this early or in such high numbers for a first sighting. I usually see a one or two robins the first time in late February. We are in the throes of the polar vortex. When I noticed the robins in my yard yesterday, the temperature was 5 degrees. Today, they are congregating in my holly bushes. Yesterday, they spent much of the day flying around my large back and side yards, where they foraged, as well as bathed in our hillside spring.
