We are a group of 12 fourth graders from Belle Sherman Elementary in Ithaca, NY

We had a hard time deciding where to plant our tulips this year. The deer seem to find them no matter what! This time we chose to plant them in between some low , well mulched bushes that border the stairway up to the sidewalk and road.

It was a freezing cold rainy day and the holes were hard to dig. We hope that these bulbs will be successful evading the deer.
